What's Covered
LABOR WARRANTY: Our labor warranty covers workmanship defects for 12 months or 20,000 km (whichever comes first). If a repair fails due to our error, we re-perform the work at no charge. Example: If we replace brake pads and a caliper sticks due to improper installation, we fix it free.
PARTS WARRANTY: Parts warranties are provided by part manufacturers, typically 12-36 months depending on part type. OEM parts usually have longer warranties than aftermarket. We handle warranty claims on your behalf.
What's NOT Covered
Normal Wear and Tear
Brakes, tires, wiper blades, filters, and fluids are consumables that wear with use. Warranty doesn't extend their service life - if brake pads last 40,000 km, warranty doesn't mean they'll last 80,000 km.
Misuse or Abuse
Damage from accidents, off-road use, racing, overloading, or ignoring warning lights is not covered. Using vehicle contrary to manufacturer recommendations voids warranty.
Lack of Maintenance
Warranty requires you maintain the vehicle per manufacturer schedules. Skipping oil changes, ignoring leaks, or deferring maintenance voids warranty for related failures.
Unrelated Problems
If we repair your brakes and your transmission later fails, that's not a warranty issue - it's an unrelated system. Warranty covers the specific repair performed, not all future problems.
Making a Warranty Claim
Contact us as soon as you suspect a warranty issue. Bring your vehicle in for inspection with original invoice. We examine the problem to determine if it's warranty-related.
If covered, repair is performed at no charge. If not covered (wear, misuse, unrelated problem), we explain why and provide estimate for needed repairs. Diagnosis to determine warranty coverage is typically performed at no charge for recent customers.
Warranty Transfer and Service Records
Our warranties are vehicle-specific, not owner-specific. If you sell the vehicle, warranty transfers to new owner with proper documentation.
Keep service records. Warranty claims require proof of proper maintenance. We maintain records for our customers, but you should keep invoices and service documentation.
